Any web-based email service or file transfer service is constrained by this limitation. Even corporate email systems, with their own file servers and administrators, will limit file attachment sizes, often for costs incurred by the additional storage required from the network effect. For instance, a 2 gigabyte email sent from a user to 10 email recipients will consume 22 gigabytes of storage on the email server.
