SendThisFile today is announcing the ability to fully control and manage user access to Custom Upload Forms.

WICHITA, KS - September 7, 2012 - SendThisFile today is announcing the ability to fully control and manage user access to Custom Upload Forms. Custom Upload Forms allow SendThisFile customers to embed file sending capabilities into their public website or private intranet, allowing visitors to upload and send large files from the web browser without special software. SendThisFile's Enterprise plans include the 'Access Control' security option, a feature granting customers complete control over who can access and use their Custom Upload Forms. "Access to a web service is not as simple as allowing public or private access," said Scott Sexton, SendThisFile's VP of Business Development. "There are many shades in-between, such as when working with others requires temporary access, or when only certain employees are allowed to share files. With Access Control, users decide who can use their Custom Upload Form." To share files with a Custom Upload Form, users are required to enter their email address. By blocking or allowing specific email addresses or email domains, SendThisFile customers can block or allow as many or as few users as they desire. With Access Control, customers can easily extend the capability to send large files of the Custom Upload Form with others, and are not restricted to only allowing access to workers at the same company. "Access Control gives users granular control over which email addresses and domains can use their upload form," said John Stephens, SendThisFile's VP of Operations. "Customers have the flexibility to extend and share our service with others." Other Custom Upload Form security features include password protected downloads and restricting access to users with authenticated email addresses. Custom Upload Forms with Access Control is available today to all Enterprise plan customers.
