From setup to received file

File intake without building it yourself.

Configure the destinations once, give customers the right entry point, and keep the resulting handoffs visible to your team.

  1. 01

    Choose who receives files

Create the Button and approve purchased, verified Business users as destinations.

  2. 02

Add it to your site—or share a hosted page

Use the supplied website code, follow the WordPress setup path, or copy your hosted SendThisFile URL.

  3. 03

    Receive and track the handoff

Visitors upload through the Button, and incoming transfers remain accessible in SendThisFile Activity.

Choose the entry point

Three ways to put it to work.

Use the same approved recipient setup wherever customers need to reach you.

Website

Embed on your website

Add the supplied loader and Website Button element. The upload experience opens over the current page.

<script src="https://cdn.sendthisfile.com/button/sendthisfile-button.min.js"></script>
<sendthisfile-button label="Send files" buttonid="your-button-id"></sendthisfile-button>
Direct link

Share a hosted upload page

Use a SendThisFile-hosted URL when you do not want to edit your website or need a direct intake link.

WordPress

Use the WordPress setup path

Business customers receive WordPress setup instructions in SendThisFile, including where to place the Button on a page or post.

Controlled destinations

Keep incoming files pointed at the right team.

Owners choose a pool of purchased and verified Business users. With one approved recipient, the destination is automatic. With more than one, visitors choose from the approved list—not arbitrary email addresses.

The owner may require an emailed verification code as optional proof that the sender controls that address. Buttons can be enabled or disabled, and incoming transfers appear in SendThisFile Activity.

Trigger appearance

Make the entry point feel at home on your site.

Choose the trigger label, colour, light or dark treatment, filled or outlined style, rounded or square corners, and size.

These controls style the Website Button trigger. The upload dialog is not a completely branded form builder: it retains Powered by SendThisFile.

Practical intake routes

Built for repeatable customer handoffs.

Use a controlled destination when the same kinds of files need to reach the right internal team again and again.

Client documents

Collect accounting, legal, insurance, application, and onboarding materials through one familiar intake route.

Project files

Receive construction, engineering, print, design, and media assets from customers and project partners.

Support uploads

Give customers a clear place for screenshots, recordings, and files that do not belong in an ordinary email attachment.
